38. Phnom Sampov
Phnom Sampov Mountain is steeped in legend. Topped by Wat Sampov and a group of caves once used as ‘ killing caves’ by the Khmer Rouge, it contains the skeletal remains of their victims. The Wat is unexceptional; what is spectacular is the view. Ask about the legend of Neang Rumsay Sok.
